Answer: Hydronic systems make use of water as the heat transfer fluid in a "closed loop" that is embedded under the floor. The hot water is supplied to the tubes from broiler. The heat from a heat pump can be used to heat water that is circulated through the tubes. As the hot water circulates through the tubes, the heat gradually rises from the floor and warms the entire room.
